I cannot even begin to express how fantastic Maisie & the Lake Minnetonka String Quartet was at our wedding. We booked a trio for our ceremony and cocktail hour music. The we so wonderful - many guests commented on how incredibly good they are. I wish I got to relax and listen to them the whole time they were playing. When the started playing our processional music I got goosebumps. Maisie is the sweetest - such a great person to work with. Book them - they are the best!!!

The Lake Minnetonka String Quartet far exceeded our expectations. They have a great selection of music to choose from, both modern and classical, but are willing to arrange anything you want. We had them arrange two songs for us and they were both amazing. All I had to do was send them a YouTube clip of a similar song and they improved it and made it the highlight of our ceremony. They are very flexible and can do whatever you want during your ceremony. If you are unsure, they can also offer great suggestions given the vibe you want at your wedding. During the ceremony, their professionalism was exhibited. They are able to take cues from the officiant to determine when to fade out a song so it sounds like it was perfectly planned. The wedding planner said this was by far the best string quartet that she had heard both in music and their professionalism. I really cannot say enough great things.

I hired the quartet for my daughter's wedding, initially to play 30 minutes prior to the wedding and then for the cocktail hour. We ended up having them play during dinner as well, and I cannot tell you how many people told us that having them play during dinner was such a lovely treat. They also accompanied a friend who sang the Old Irish Blessing during the ceremony, and so many people expressed that it brought tears to their eyes. They have so much heart and emotion, a very special group, professional, talented, passionate about music, and an absolute pleasure to work with. They played pop, rock, classical, and anything else we requested, and if they didn't have it in their repertoire, they found it or made their own arrangement.
